Dana Johnson

Dana Johnson is a Vancouver artist. She studied painting at Emily Carr University of Art and Design after a successful career in fashion design with her own label. Her love of European history, costume, landscapes and nature comes across in much of her work.Primarily painting in oil, she has been exploring vibrant geometric themes. The objects are deconstructed to create an environment that represents our disconnected thoughts that could be perceived as chaotic but in reality, rhythm and harmony can be achieved.She has participated in many group shows and is an exhibiting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her work can be seen in corporate and private collections in B.C., Alberta and Ontario.
