Vrinda Patel
Vrinda Patel is a Toronto-based artist working primarily in oil painting, with a focus on nature and landscape. Her practice comes from a natural connection to the world around her and a desire to translate its beauty through the richness and depth of oil paint.
She finds inspiration in the quiet transformations of nature—the bright blue sky shifting into vivid colours at sunrise and sunset, leaves moving gently in the breeze, and the changing landscape as summer gives way to autumn. The colours of falling leaves speak to transition, letting go, and new beginnings before winter arrives.
Through her paintings, Patel explores the sensory experiences that connect us to each season: the fresh scent of spring, the coolness of ocean water in summer, and the changing colours and atmosphere of the world around us.
