Visual Art

Miguel Hernandez, born in Venezuela, is a multidisciplinary artist, muralist, and educator whose practice explores identity, belonging, and community through his paintings. Trained in Product Design at Universidad de Los Andes in Venezuela, Hernandez later deepened his artistic development in Canada through specialized training in oil painting, and more recently in contemporary art. His work bridges cultures and communities, reflecting both his immigrant journey and his interest in how daily life objects and events impact our lives; in his contemporary work, he’s exploring colours and lines in the search of personal roots and identity.
