Black Creek Reign
With Trinidadian roots and a Toronto perspective, Black Creek Reign brings an outspoken political voice to a combustible mix of hard rock, funk, reggae and soca. Their music challenges abuses of power and the divisions that sustain them, pairing danceable grooves with the urgency of a call to action.
Formed by longtime collaborators Stultz and guitarist Darren Jonathan, and later joined by vocalist LOGUN and drummer Aaron “LoveSound” Seunarine, Black Creek Reign has evolved from an ever-changing experiment into a focused four-piece. Their sound brings together the confrontational energy of Rage Against the Machine, the funk-driven punch of Red Hot Chili Peppers and the reggae-pop sensibility of MAGIC!
In 2026, Black Creek Reign opened for soca powerhouse Kes the Band at Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre as part of Roots Rock Soca. Their live résumé also includes appearances at NXNE, Canadian Music Week, and Wintersong Music Festival, alongside performances across Toronto and Southern Ontario.
