Cartoon Coach is a unique cartooning resource where level-based learning is replaced by a holistic approach called; the Locus of Focus.The Locus of Focus is inspired by observing the parallels found when comparing core methods between studying a variety of disciplines, outside of the creative arts, like yoga and martial arts.The Locus of Focus is divided into 3 equal parts: Strong Bones, Powerful muscles and Sharp Mind.Strong Bones represent the traditions, art-fundamentals and principles that become the framework with which we build upon.Powerful Muscles represent creativity, imagination and techniques that require consistent stretching, exercise and practice.Sharp Mind represents our desire, motivation, determination, patience, and positive internal dialogue to help stay on track towards achieving goals.These elements, when learned, practiced and balanced, become the foundation to achieving an artist's goals.
