Alexander “Alex/Sasha” Vidakovic comes from the city of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.He is currently in his fifth year as a print major at AUArts, and is aspiring to get both a Continuing Education degree, as well as an MFA in printing.He is the recipient of the Alexander Rutherford Scholarship (2025), and a three time recipient of the Jason Lang Scholarship (2023-25).Sasha has also exhibited as part of Raw Artists in 2023, as well as numerous school galleries as part of his tenure at AUArts (Retro Revival, Horror Gallery, Ratllery).His work spans a multitude of topics, typically in relation to the self in some form. This is either in ideas surrounding identity, memories, mental health, and “oneness” with the universe.The primary medium for his work is printmaking (silkscreen, relief/lino), but he also dabbles in mixed media collage, pen and ink, oil sticks, and drawing as well.
