I'm a mixed media artist based in Calgary, with a background in advertising copywriting and creative strategy.

I make art to bring me joy, process emotions, celebrate important people and places in my life, and keep myself entertained. My favorite way to work is to scroll through my photo albums to find photos that feel right. Then I pull silly things that I’ve gathered from around my house (loofah) or in nature (seed pod) and use them to create interesting textures when applying acrylic paint or ink or watercolour or gouache or pastels or whatever other medium is calling to me at that moment. I hope you find something in my paintings that makes you stop—to smile, feel, laugh, remember or think.
