Hey there! My name is Evan but I also go by Ecky as it is my artist tag. I’m a Calgary based visual artist working in the realm of surrealism, with my main medium being digital. I have a style that is quite visually striking, combining bold line work with a painting like texture and vibrant colours (for some). Most of my work doesn’t have a linear meaning, rather, it is a collection of ideas, objects, norms, and subliminal messages that end up creating a story. I’ve never heard the same interpretation twice, which tends to add to the complexity of my pieces in a way that is very fascinating to me.So with that being said, I hope you enjoy my work! :)
