Everton Fearon
Toronto-based artist Everton Fitz Arthur Fearon has been creating since 2006. Everton's inherent need for creative expression led him to purchase an easel and canvas on a whim. This random purchase unlocked a passion that would change the way he interacts with the world forever. Everton was born in Jamaica in 1979 and came to Canada as a teenager. His use of vibrant colour, texture and pattern are deeply influenced by his Caribbean roots. A painter and sculptor, Everton's mixed media works are composed of discarded materials such as paper, wood, textiles, etc. combined with acrylic paint on canvas. Each piece brings a truly unique sense of emotion, depth, movement, and wonderment.
