Favour Adesina
Favour Adesina, also known as StudioFave, is a multidisciplinary Nigerian-Canadian artist whose practice spans painting, music, writing, and performance. Working across acrylic, oil, and watercolour, she builds richly layered compositions using elaborate colour palettes, collage-style imagery, and textured elements such as beads, clay, and found fabric. Her work seeks to resonate with those who feel misaligned in a world that pressures uniformity, evoking emotion through colour, form, and material. Rooted in lived experiences, her paintings, music, and writing transform personal narratives into stories of resilience, celebration, and the quiet power of melancholy. With an extensive background in architecture, her work balances technical precision with her mind’s intuitive fluidity. Her drawings have been featured by Carnegie Mellon’s School of Architecture, and her paintings received an honourable mention in TERAVARNA’s 2025 International Juried Abstract Art Competition.
