I am Miguel Antonio Latigar, I go by Filmofmin3 and I’m a Filipino visionary film photographer based out of Toronto. My obsession with visual arts began in my early upbringing and continued to develop as I taught myself how to handle a camera and use it to rewrite my personal experiences, personify my feelings and document the experiences of the present. Years ago, as my fascination for the artform grew, I heard this quote: “In today’s digital age people are taking pictures more than ever and there are no slides or prints, just data and electronic dust.” That very moment I decided to shoot my work exclusively on film thinking that one day, when we’re all gone and they dig us up, maybe I could give them an idea of who we are and how we lived. I truly believe every good picture is worth a thousand words and I try to deliver detailed and descriptive stories with every one of mine for anyone who may choose to admire.
