My name is Gayatri, I was Born in a small beautiful place in India. Currently living in Burnaby, Canada. With both my parents being artists I was always surrounded with art, surrounded with passion of art and design. I was always encouraged to design and create. It was easy for me to start loving it and making it a constant part of my life. Art is the companion I always have and know it’s not going anywhere.I paint from my heart, Its an outlet to so many expressions and emotions. When it’s hard to put in words there are always colours. When it comes to art I am an explorer, I work with a lot of different mediums, so mixed media has become my favourite. I love to paint portraits, animal, birds and nature in general.Knowingly and unknowingly I always strive to convey a sense of connection within my artwork. Connection around us that we cannot see but feel.
