Harry Kooy
Harry Kooy uses simple tools to make machines and sculptures out of copper, wire, stone and wood. In 2022 he shifted from working as an automechanic to making art full time. Harry’s machines combine playful engineering with artistic expression and his sculptures show the joy of finding new ways to work with wire. Harry’s art has appeared in many juried art fairs and gallery exhibitions, most notably the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair and the Homer Watson House and Gallery. Harry is based in Kitchener Ontario and is inspired by 19th century technology, fantasy and the natural world.
