Jeweliyana Reece creates vibrant, textured paintings inspired by the beauty of natural landscapes and flowers.Originally known for her intricate glass paintings, she later expanded her artistic practice to acrylics, which have become her primary medium of expression. A largely self-directed artist, she has continually developed her skills through study, mentorship, and a lifelong commitment to learning.Working intuitively, Jeweliyana builds her paintings through layers of colour and texture, allowing each piece to evolve organically. Her goal is not realism, but immersion - to create spaces where viewers can wander visually through depth and detail.The ever-changing seasons of Canada, her muse; acrylics, her medium. Inspired by both Mother Nature's wingmen and showstoppers, she seeks to capture the beauty that makes us pause, look closer, and enjoy a little piece of the quiet magic that’s ever unfolding all around us.
