Sara Lof is a budding artist based in Calgary Alberta. She has a drive for drawing and painting since her early years, being raised on a farm in rural Alberta where it was her core means of self expression. Since high school she has expanded her practice into different forms of multimedia, clay, sculptures, and welding artworks to name a few. She enjoys working with her hands and creating a unique, textural experience with her work and now prefers working with acrylic and watercolors, but she is never without her sketchbooks.Over the years she has gained skills through various people and networks, including extracurricular classes, gallery shows and a few murals in her hometown. Since then, she has worked to improve herself and gain experience in the arts in a way that can fit her career goals of blending the arts and psychology to help others find their voices as art has done for her.
