Jordan Pearson
I am a mother, oil painter, and high school art teacher from Treaty Six territory, Edmonton, Alberta. I trained in fine art at the Red Deer College, the University of Alberta, and the Florence Academy of Art. I absolutely love still life painting, specifically of found items from nature such as dead butterflies, bark, feathers or sticks. I'm also interested in pattern, visible layers, shadow and creating space within an artwork for wandering contemplation.
