Karim
My name is Karim Joe-Dewarder, and I’m a Toronto-based photographer with a deep love for storytelling through analog film. My work is grounded in capturing moments that feel raw, nostalgic, and real—whether it’s street scenes, portraits, or quiet everyday interactions. Outside of photography, I work in the mental health and community wellness field, supporting individuals dealing with trauma, addiction, and recovery. I also lead Strive Run Club, an initiative I founded to build confidence, connection, and resilience through running, particularly among Black youth and underserved communities.
