A little something about me. Keitha Keeshig-Tobias Biizindam (She who listens and learns and uses what she hears), Anishinaabe from Neyaashiinigmiing Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation & Lenape Delaware Nation from Moraviantown. I am a contemporary Indigenous artist currently based in Toronto My art incorporates Indigenous science, history, and gracefulness; creating a world where imagination is sparked and nature remembered and children feel safe to be what ever they want to be. My work ranges from 2 block Underpass mural to multimedia installations, paintings, murals, jewelry/textile. My artwork spans modalities, combines styles and is ever evolving as new techniques and ways of transmitting knowledge are learnt.
