Makhdoom Khan
Makhdoom Sadiq Khan is a self-taught abstract and conceptual artist based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, his practice is driven by intuition, emotion, and experimentation rather than formal training. Working with acrylic and oil on canvas and paper, his art explores human emotion, uncertainty, and unseen psychological spaces through abstraction and symbolism.
He has created over a thousand paintings and thousands of drawings, shared through exhibitions and digital platforms worldwide. Makhdoom is known for introducing unconventional expressions such as a question mark under a square root and x plus y equals no square, reflecting resistance to fixed conclusions. One of his works, Revolutionary Control, is installed at the Neuralink head office in the United States. He also mentors emerging artists, encouraging fearless creativity and originality.
