My name is Maryam. I am a multidisciplinary artist whose work is a testament to the evolution of emotional expression. Beginning my journey fifteen years ago as a portrait artist, I spent seven years mastering the intricacies of the human form before finding my true calling in visual and abstract art. This pivotal shift was born from a desire for creative liberation—moving away from the constraints of likeness to embrace the raw "passion of the moment." My current practice prioritizes spontaneity and intuition, allowing each brushstroke to be guided by immediate feeling rather than a pre-determined plan. Having previously showcased my work in several notable exhibitions in my home country (Iran), my latest collection under the MaryPainting brand represents a deep, energetic exploration of the self through color and form.
