Hi, I'm Mike Bertrand. I'm an abstract artist, and I have been creating art for most of my life. Born and raised in Niagara, I graduated from Niagara College for Art Fundamentals & Graphic Design. My work is focused on creating unique visual experiences that challenge viewers to explore their own emotions and perspectives.Working primarily with acrylics, I don’t limit myself to one style; I let my curiosity guide my brush. On one canvas, you might find deep, moody abstracts built with heavy palette-knife textures, splatters, and metallic gold; on another, a vibrant, character-filled illustration bursting with color and life.For me, art is all about tactile exploration. I love pushing boundaries and experimenting with new techniques and materials to see what energy emerges. Whether capturing the quiet, textured depth of an abstract piece or bringing a whimsical character to life, my goal is to create spontaneous, engaging art that speaks to the soul.
