Miranda Lanes Art
Miranda is a self-taught mixed media artist and spiritual intuitive. You can find her painting and creating from her home studio in Watson Lake, Yukon, or from her cabin the Owl’s Nest, on the Campbell Highway, Yukon. When she was a child, her grandfather, Medicine Man, Little Jimmy Doctor, shared the importance of animal medicine and the value of our interconnectedness with all beings and Mother Earth. These teachings have greatly influenced and contributed to Miranda’s work. She describes herself as someone who paints and creates intuitively from her heart, capturing the gifts of Mother Earth and sharing animal medicine to help others on their earth journey. Miranda was born into the Wolf Clan of the Kaska-Liard First Nation from the Yukon. She enjoys spending time with her husband Doug and their 2 sons Joshua and Jeremiah hiking in the woods, by lakes or rivers or in the mountains. She enjoys outdoor adventures, searching for rocks and feathers with family.
