Naz Atelier
I am Amanda Chinazo Anozie, a Nigerian-Canadian artist creating timeless, symbolic portraits that reflect the complexity of the human spirit. My work explores themes of femininity, gender, spirituality, and self-discovery, drawing inspiration from life’s transformative moments—joy, loss, growth, and healing.
Deeply influenced by Rococo, Surrealism, and the Renaissance, I blend classical techniques with modern narratives. My practice is also rooted in my Igbo heritage, using its symbolic language and ancestral reverence to ground universal themes of identity, culture, and belonging.
Through my art, I aim to create moments of reflection where meaning, beauty, and mystery intertwine.
