I am an adventure scientist who travels the world with researchers to explore and understand the natural environment. My creative practice is grounded in these experiences. I primarily use photography to document the beauty and complexity of the places I visit, but I also play around with sketching and painting as another means to explore the intersection of science and art.
Based in Calgary, I’ve worked in a wide range of ecosystems, from local mountain landscapes to remote, ecologically significant regions across the globe. I focus on capturing unique combinations of colour, form, light, and texture—whether in sweeping vistas or the minute details of a single leaf or petal.
