Hala Sapien is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice centers on sculptural abstraction and the physicality of paint.Working primarily with heavy body acrylic mediums, she builds surfaces through accumulation, carving, iteration, and revision, treating each piece as both image and object.Her work explores embodiment, perception, and internal states through texture, gesture, and form.Studio Sapien exists to honor raw humanity through art, objects, and pure unadulterated expression.For Hala Sapien, art is not just visual — it is physical, investigative, and lived.
