Sweetly Sinister Boutique
I’m Sarah, the artist and maker behind Sweetly Sinister Boutique. I’ve been fascinated by creating art and have worked with a wide range of materials since childhood. In 2016, I became an intern at a film and television prop studio in Toronto Canada where I spent four years before branching out on my own in 2020. My work includes original acrylic paintings, mixed-media pieces, wearable masks, sculptures, and handmade décor. I draw my inspiration from Mother Nature, the cosmos, the occult, fantasy, science fiction, and the wonderfully strange. I don’t limit myself to one medium or style—the idea dictates the materials and my approach. My creations can be whimsical, colorful, eerie, demonic, sparkly, or all of those things at once, but they’re always made with care, a high level of craftsmanship, and a little piece of my heart and soul.
