Tara Snyder
Hi, I’m Tara! I’m an Ottawa-based artist who loves capturing the beauty of the natural world through acrylic and oil painting. Much of my work is inspired by the landscapes of Ontario’s Provincial Parks, along with the beautiful places I’ve been lucky enough to explore while travelling.
I recently spent time at an art residency in the South of France, where I had the chance to experiment, explore new ideas, and lean into my own creative style. I love playing with different mediums and finding inspiration in unexpected places (and objects!). My art is about sharing appreciation for nature and capturing the beauty of the places that leave a lasting impression on me.
