My name is Tara, and I am an Ottawa-based visual artist who specializes in acrylic and oil paintings. Drawing on my background in psychology and philosophy, I use mindfulness techniques to ground myself in the natural world when painting en plein air. Much of my work is inspired by Ontario Provincial Parks landscapes.
