My name is Tay Noelle, and I am bringing my vision to life as an artist. I create traditional art, working primarily in acrylic, with an emerging focus on both Japanese watercolours and oil painting.My work is bold, vibrant, and dreamlike. It is centered around surreal portraiture and mystical forms. I create paintings that explore transformation, blending feminine forms with otherworldly elements. Through the use of bold line-work, high contrast, and vivid and limited color palettes, I create a world where beauty and darkness can coexist.I have been creating art on and off my entire life, but only really started devoting my life to creating art after significant vision loss in 2023. I use that remaining vision to create art. It took me losing my eyesight, to find my vision as an artist.I create art as an act of resilience, to challenge the limitations that society places on those with disabilities, and to inspire the world to do what they love, no matter what.
