Teddy Faüx - aSuperRare
.Jason Fletcher, professionally known as Teddy Faüx, is a Canadian mixed-media artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. Working at the intersection of luxury, street culture, and contemporary portraiture, he is the founder of aSuperRare, an art practice dedicated exclusively to one-of-one works that are never reproduced.
His work explores identity, legacy, power, and cultural symbolism through iconic figures and personal narrative. Each piece is executed on birchwood panels using acrylic, stencil work, collage, woodcraft, and epoxy resin, emphasizing permanence and craftsmanship. Works often include embedded authentication elements and certificates of authenticity, reinforcing their collectible nature.
While influenced by Basquiat and Banksy, his practice remains distinct and uncompromising.
His philosophy is simple: art should be accessible in meaning, but exclusive in ownership.
Art is made for anyone.
But not for everyone.
