Chanelle is a self-taught multimedia artist based in Strathmore, Alberta. Working across painting and hand embroidery, she blends acrylic, watercolour, acrylic ink, and intuitive mixed materials to create layered, expressive pieces.Her work is deeply guided by feeling, often using limited or unexpected colour palettes to explore contrast, connection, and emotion. Music plays a central role in her creative process, influencing the rhythm and movement found within her work on both canvas and cotton.Inspired by animals and the natural world, Chanelle approaches her subjects through an abstract lens, focusing less on realism and more on the energy, relationship, and quiet stories that exist beneath the surface.
