AN ARTIST BORN AND RAISED IN TAIWAN, WHO HAS BEEN INFLUENCED BY HIS AMERICAN SCI-FI MOVIES AND TV SHOWS SINCE AGE 5, HIS PARENTS ALWAYS WANTED HIM TO BECOME A TEACHER, LAWYER, OR DOCTOR, YOU NAME IT.
BUT THIS KID NEVER FOLLOWED THE RULES, SOMETIMES GIVING HIS PARENTS AND TEACHERS A HEADACHE. YEARS LATER, HE BECAME A FASHION DESIGNER AND TEACHES AT UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES. AT LEAST HE CAME WITH A TEXTILE ENGINEER BACKGROUND; HE IS STILL AN ENGINEER, RIGHT?
REMEMBER, AS DID HIS DESIGNS AND ARTWORKS, HE NEVER FOLLOWED THE RULES. HE LIKES TO COMBINE A LOT OF DIFFERENT MEDIUMS WITH SOME SCIENCE—HIS PAINTING COMBINED WITH FABRIC, COFFEE GROUND, 3D PRINTING TECHNOLOGY…ETC.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, MOST OF HIS ARTWORK COMES AS A COLLECTION WITH A STORY BEHIND IT, MAKING IT MORE INTERESTING.
