Zaire Ink
Zaire Ink is an emerging hip-hop artist with deep roots in spoken-word poetry. Since beginning his creative career in 2017, Zaire has had the privilege of performing on notable platforms such as Global News, TedxYYC, the Saddledome, Palace Theatre and Arts Commons. In addition, Zaire has been a 2x recipient of the Inspirational Song of the Year at the YYC Music Awards.
As a storyteller representing a marginalized community, Zaire's artistry often delves into socioeconomic issues using a faith-based lens, with the goal of empowering others to find hope and develop resilience amid tragedy.
Through his involvement with schools, non-profits, community organizations and faith groups, Zaire has also served as an artistic mentor for youth across Calgary, supporting young people to explore creative mediums as means of developing positive self-regard.
